The pie charts provide information about the global market share of among computer operating systems between 2012 and 2015.
Overall, it is clear that there was a significant increase in the global market ratio of two computer operating systems, while the others witnessed an opposite trend.
Over 2-year from 2012 to 2013, the proportion of using Os1 increased suddenly from 9% to 34%. Although that of Os3 was the most dominant system in 2012, then plummeted to 9% after a year. In comparison with other systems, the global market ratio of Os2 was 13% lower than in the first year of period. Another striking point is that both Others and Os2 approximately doubled that figure, reaching 42% and 15%, respectively.
In 2014, there was an upward trend in all three computer operating systems, namely Os1, Os2, and Os3, increasing to 47%, 18% and 12%, respectively. This led to the percentage of other systems felt considerably, dropping to 23% at the same period. During the last period, the global market ratio of Os1 grew from 47% to 52%. Similarly, that of Os3 experienced a slight rise, with 15% in 2015. Conversely, 23% of other systems went down to 15%. It is noticeable that the percentage of Os2 remained unchanged throughout the final year.
