Turning to the details, in terms of visitors who came from different country was showed differency, while The UK’s citizens visit to Australia about 800,000 people and The USA’s 500,000, Japan was always on the top in 2005(around 1,500,000). Nevertheless in the second year Japans figure declined to 1,000,000, in contrast with american citizens they showed the same level with Japan’s level in 1995.
The figure for the types of visitors, when travelled by backpacking began with just over 1,500,000, staying at resorts was around 250,000. While the backpacking increased to just under 2,500,000 people in 2000 and it dropped significantly at the end of the period (around 1,000,000), staying at hotels grew steadily to the similar index in 2005.
