The chart below shows the percentage of a household income that was spent in 2000 and 2020 on different categories in a particular country. it shows all the data of the spenditure in those 2 years and all the data is hypothetical.
Utilities and health insurance remained same in 2000 and 2020 and other household activities went from 20 percent to 10 percent. While housing, transport, and entertainment increased by 5 percent.
The only thing that decreased is food. Food’s percentage decreased from 20 to 15 which is 5 of a percentage.
Overall, some things went up and some went down.There was not a huge difference in those, and it was just 5 to 10 percent each. Nothing went up from 10 percent which is quitte surprising.
