The number of people used televisions had increased by 5% between the two decades. The use of computers accounted for 45% and nearly doubled to 80% in 2020. Handphone usage rose sharply by 60%, from 30% at the beginning of the period to 90% in 2020. Tablet devices recorded the highest increment, from 5% in 2000 to 70% in 2020. Smart speaker devices had the smallest proportion, which was 0%, and showed a significant increase to 40%.
In contrast, in 2020, landline telephone, decreased from 80% to 25%, while DVD player, was 60% and fell about 25% to 35% by the end of the period.
