On the other hand, private vehicles were the most popular choice in Adelaide, while Melbourne had the lowest proportion.
In the first graph, people using public tranportation in Brisbane had been dramatically increased, accounting for around 15% in 2000 and 27% in 2010. The rest of the city listed in the graph remained in similar proportion between 2000 and 2010, sydney was approximately 20%, Melbourne was about 18%, Perth was around 10%, Adelaide was around 5%.
Oh the other hand, percentage of people using private cars had remaid similar trend. People in Adelaide had the largest proportion in private cars use, contributed approximately 70% in 2000 and 90% in 2010. In Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, it was around 50%, 40%, 30% and 25% respectively.
