In general, fitness and dance and modern languages held the largest share initially, but eventually it was taken over by IT, which was the most dominant area among others. Notably, there was a disappearance of music appreciation.
Regarding the decreasing categories, fitness and dance and modern languages comprised the highest percentage of participation, with 22% and 24% respectively. Afterwards, modern languages showed a significant drop by 7%, while fitness and dance remained unchanged. Finally, art recorded a marginal decrease by only 2% from 17%.
Concerning the others, there was a remarkable climb in the figure for cookery, rising from 14% to 19%. Similarly, local history surged from 15% to 27%, exhibiting an accelerating interest of students in this subject. Apart from that, music appreciation was the only subject that was eliminated.
