Overall, it is evident that while the figure for art and modern languages had an downward trend, the data of cookery had an upward trend. Additionally, the statistic of fitness and dance remained unchanged. However, some courses were lost and a new course appeared.
Starting with the percentages of art, modern languages and cookery, 17 percent of students enrolled to study art in 1985. Recently, the proportion of art decreased slightly to 15 percent. In 1985, the figure for modern languages and cookery were 24 percent and 14 percent, respectively. Nevertheless, the data of modern languages decreased to 17 percent, while the statistic of cookery increased to 19 percent in this year.
In 1985, only 8 percent of students selected music appreciation. Besides, the statistics of fitness, dance and local history were 22 percent and 15 percent, respectively. Nowadays, students stopped taking music appreciation and local history courses. In contrast, students started choosing IT course with 27 percent.
