Based on the first chart, people who intended to learn modern languages, such as French, German and Spanish, occupied nearly a quarter, followed up by fitness and dance with 22 percent, which stayed steady from 1985. Next, art took up the third-highest percentage with 17 percent, which was roughly 2 times higher than music appreciation. Besides that, local history and cookery accounted for 15 percent and 14 percent, respectively.
Moving on to the second one, fitness and dance remain unchanged, going down to the second-highest percentage. The highest one is the IT category, replacing local history and music appreciation, which was nearly twofold compared with art. Finally, modern languages and cookery witness roughly one-fifth.
