The bar chart illutrates the percentage of usage for different actions in the work place in the US between 1980 and 2000. Overall, it is clear that instead of paper communication, people prefered to use computers in the office. However, it leaded to less meeting as well.
Looking at higher figures first, in 1980, the computer was not dominant that made up only 2%, but then, this experienced a considerable rise by 30 percent. In addition, this year there was no email usage in the US. After computer dramatically increased, the email activity added in 2000 year that accounted for 8% of bar chart.
As regarded the figures for the three activities such as phone, paper document, and meeting that went down significanty 23%, 10% as well as 13%. When it comes to no changes, other activities made up 15% moreover, face to face communication accounted for 14% during the year.
