There are five different activities have been mentioned in the data that include working, relaxing at home, sleeping, travel to work, going out with friends and other interests or playing sports.
Overall, it can be noticed that there is a substantial increase in percentage of hours consume during working, relaxing at home, traveling and playing sports. Conversely, the amount of time required for other activities gradually decreases from 1958 to 2008. It is also evident that most of part of life of working adults is occupied by work.
In 1958, working, relaxing at home, traveling and sports activities accounted for 33%, 8%, 2% and 6%, their numbers accelerated and they became resposible for the 42% and 13% of total time of adults at the end of 2008. Meanwhile, the proportion of duration on other things like sleeping and going out with friends experienced a downfall. Their value decreased from 32% and 19% in 1958, to 25% and 6% in 2008 respectively.
