The pie charts depict the proportion of USA citizens who visit Canada in various age groups in 2000 and after two decades.
Overall, the highest percentages of visitors were the two older groups in both given years. Then, in 2000, the 16-24 age group accounted for the lowest percentage, whereas in 2020, the least percentage was taken by the under-15 juveniles’ group.
In 2000, half of the proportion was held by individuals (35-54) from the USA who travelled to Canada, which was the highest. Following this, visitors aged 25- 34 were the second highest, which was 20%. Visitors aged 16 to 24 were only a total of 4%.
Now, in 2020, again the apex percentage was held by the same group as in 2000, although the percentage had decreased by 15%. The next change was the lowest group: in this year, the minimum number of tourists was below 15 citizens. Then, the second highest position was also changed.
