The pie charts demonstrate the proportion of individuals who did optional work in different federations over a period of 6 years, starting from 2008.
As a whole, it is obvious from the charts that there were upward trends in the percentage of people volunteering for the environment, healthcare services and sport activities, while that of the remaining groups in the statistics experienced downward trends over the period. It is also noticeable that environmental organizations were recorded to have the most volunteers in the surveyed years.
In 2008, the percentage of people working in educational organizations stood at 24%, making it the most huge figure among all the categories. Meanwhile, the data for people volunteering in environmental associations were similar to that for volunteers in arts projects, at 21% and 18%, respectively. Moreover, 15% of people worked in sports institutions, which was the same as the figure for others. Ultimately, healthcare services were reported to have the lowest proportion at 7%.
After 6 years, the percentage of people working in educational organizations decreased dramatically to 17%. Similarly, the information for volunteers in arts and other activities witnessed a considerable fall of 6%. In addition, the proportion of individuals who worked in environmental and sports associations climbed drastically to 29% and 25%, respectively, whereas that of volunteers in healthcare saw a less pronounced growth of from 7% to 8%.
