Overall, it can be seen that majority of the areas used water for agricultural needs, meanwhile the least percentage accounted for the domestic. However, North America and Europe utilization in industrial purposes were the highest among the other two categories.
Places such as Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia marked the highest proportion of water utilization in agricultral goals were at 84%, 88%, and 81%, while the consumption for domestic requirements were at less than 10% for these areas. Additionally, their percentage in industrial purposes were also below 10%, but in South East Asia was used about 12%. Furthermore, in South America draw on 71% for agricultral, 19% for deomestic, and 10% for industrial.
In North America and Europe utilized largest proportion of water for industrial needs which was about 48% and 53%, moreover, their usage in other categories such as agricultural were at 39% and 32%, on the other hand for domestic spends were at 13% and 15%.
