Overall, it can be seen that the largest proportion of oranges are produced in Brazil and the USA. However, in China, tangerines are the most grown fruits. In addition, other types of fruits such as grapefruits, lemons, and citrus fruits are harvested rarely.
According to the chart, Brazil shows the largest consumption of oranges, approximately 87%, followed by the USA, around 73%. While China harvests only 18% of oranges in yields. In contrast, grapefruits are popular in the USA, cropping almost 16%. Nonetheless, in China and Brazil, they are grown infrequently, with a proportion of 8% and 1%, respectively.
Additionally, the harvesting of lemon in USA is 7%, accompanied by Brazil up to 5% of consumption. But in China consume only 8% of lemon fruits.
