The pie charts give information the accomodation preferences of holidaymakersin three separate years. The types of accommodation considered are staying with family, rented apartment, camping and hotels.

Overall, the proportion of holidaymakers using rental apartment, and camping experience an upward trend over a 20-year period, while the opposite was true for those who preffered staying with family, and using hotels. However, staying with family was the most popular option among holidaymakers throughout the period.

In 1988, 52% of holidaymakers prefer to sat with family, which was the highest figure. This was followed by the camping and rented apartment, whose figures were 26% and 15% respectively. In contrast, rented apartments was the least popular choice among holidaymakers with 7%.

In 1998, the majority of holidaymakers still preffered staying with family with 54%, which was slightly higher than that of staying with family in 1988. Similarly, the figure for camping increased noticeably to 22% which was again the second-most popular choice. However, the percentage of holidaymakers who chose staying with family went down by half. Despite a marked rise, rented apartment was the least welcomed choice by holidaymakers.

In 2008, the proportions of holidaymakers choosing staying with family and using camping declined to 44% and 12% correspondingly, with the former and latter remaining the most popular and least popular options. By contrast, the preference of rented apartments among holidaymakers rose significantly and reached a peak of 22%, doubling its previous proportion. Finally, the percentage of holidaymakers whi used camping remained unchanged.
