Overall, food and Housing were the most preffered expenditured goods and services for British people where as entertainment and luxury goods were least expensive items.
In 1958, almost one quarter of total population made expenses on housing, it seems rose in demand after five decade with 32%. Similarly, luxury goods were in trends most of people had in their purse accounted from 7% to 17% respectively. Moreover, travel and transportation seems drastically changed accounted more than double.
Britishers stopped spending on foods accounted 30% in 1958 where its dropped by 20% in 2008. However, only minimal changed was seen on clothing with only 2% from 18% to 16% simultaneously.
