Overall, both electronic goods and clothing were spent the most over a 10 year period, while the least spent were newspapers/magazines and go to cinema.
In detail. In 1998, the total spending on electronic goods was 16 percent after which it rose slightly up to one-fifth in 2008 . Clothing shows a similar change however with a larger extent, in the first year with 12 % and a 6% rise after a decade. Moreover , the percentage of people spent on eating out was 6 % and remained unchanged.
Despite the fact that 8% of people expend for holiday in 1998 it declined dramatically up to 5 % ten years later. However, newspaper and go to cinema both went from 3% to 1% each
