Overall, the learners who can speak Spanish only constituted majority of proportion in both years, whereas German speaker remained unchanged. However, Students who were not being able to speak other language decreased significantly after a decade.
Getting into details, Students speaking Spanish only was at 30% in 2000, which increased slightly to 35% in 2010. Learners of university who can speak another language and French were at same level with 15% in 2000. However, Another language speaker increases and French decreases in 2010 by 5%, accounting for 20% and 10% respectively.
Moreover, Students who do no know other language declined by a half in 2010 from 20% to 10%. But, Learners speaking two other languages rose significantly to 15% from 10% in 2010. German became the only language which remained at same level with 10% in both the years.
