Overall, the most students decide to study because they have an interest in the subject, but the fewest adults want to meet people through this. Individuals receive the most financial support.
To begin with, the adults wanted to study for several reasons, which were to meet individuals, to be able to change jobs, and to enjoy learning or studying, accounting for 9%, 12%, and 20% respectively. Moreover, 20% wanted to improve prospects of promotion, 22% found it helpful for their current job, and 8% wanted to gain a qualification. But the main reason others chose to study was because adults were interested in the subject, which accounted for 40%.
Taxpayers should contribute 25%, and employers should contribute 35% to the study fund. Individuals provide the highest financial support for those who wanted to study, at 40%.
