The 2 charts below illustrates the happiness score that rates by 2 groups of people in a certain ages, married and unmarried. For married couples, the chart focus more on how children will effect on their happiness rating.
Overall, married people in the US clearly rate their happiness score higher than unmarried individuals. The percentage of happiness from married couples in all ages are higher than 40% and are up to 45%. Married couples that have children under age of 18 have the highest happiness score among the other groups.
According to first chart, married people definitely have a higher happiness score, compare to unmarried people. Married people that age 18-29 have the highest happiness score with 45%. Follow closely with people who age from 36-49, 65 and over with 44%. Moreover married people whose age between 50-64 have the lowest happiness rate at 40%. However people from age 18-29 and 50-64 that are unmarried have the lowest score with 21%. Follow closely with individual whose age between 30 and 49, with only 1% higher. For unmarried people that age 65 and over are significantly rating their happiness score higher than any other ages.
Second chart is about married couple happiness rating that effect by children. From a survey a couples that have a children under 18 have the highest rate with 44%. In contrast those who have a children age over 18 have a least happiness rate at 41%. While the couples that have no children their happiness score are at 43%.
