The bar chart and the pie chart demonstrate data about the learners from Vietnam who studied English and divided into age groups between 2015 and 2018, and also their aims of learning English.
Overall, it is clear that the number of students who aged 17-24 contributed the largest rate, while the number of students who aimed to learn in the school graduation students accounted for the smallest share.
In 2015, although the number of 13-16 years old students made up the smallest share merely 1, the number of students who aged 17-24 contributed the predominant figure to approximately 9. In comparison with school graduation learners (23), the number of students who aimed to learn english in the overseas education recorded much higher share at around 50. By 2017, the number of students who aged 13-16 and 17-24 increased slightly, while the number of individuals who studied English 24-34 years and 35+ years old remained the same figure over the period.
By 2018, the number of students who studied English increased significantly at exactly 40, while the number of students who aimed to immigration remained an almost identical figure (19) over the 4 years. Although the rest students stayed at the same figures, the work opportunities contributed the largest share at exactly 25. While the number of students who aimed to the overseas education demonstrated decrease (43), the scholarship opportunities and school graduation students showed roughly the same figures at around 7.
In conclusion, it is noticeable that the number of students who studied English showed oscillation, while the number of students who purposed climbed gradually over the period.
