The two bar graphs compare the number of graduate and postgraduate students who choose different destination excluding full-time work in UK during 2008.
Overall, it is evident that the number of graduate students were more than that of postgraduate students. Meanwhile, majority of students prefer further study after both degrees.
According to the fist graph, the number of students who prefer further study after graduate was 29,665 which was highest in this category in 2008. Conversely, only 3500 students choose voluntary work after this degree. The share of part-time work and unemployment accounted for 17,335 and 16,235, respectively.
Regarding the postgraduate students, it can be seen that the proportion of part-time work and further study were nearly identical in this year, at above 2500. Notably, only 345 students choose voluntary work after this degree with was lowest in this year. On the other hand, the number of unemployed students was 1625 which was approximately three times higher than voluntary work.
