Throughout the years, United States share in contribution is significantly huge in comparsion to other donor countries, followed by Germany, Japan and UK at second, third and fourth postion respectively, hovering above 10 billion dollars mark, while Netherlands and Sweden having the least share in contribution.

In 2008, United States contributed more than 20 billion dollars, but it dropped lower than 20 billion dollars in 2009 and surge back to around 25 billion dollars in 2010. Similarly, British funding dropped slightly in 2009 but grew back to around 13 billion dollars in 2010. In contrast, German funding increased gradually over the period of time from 10 billion dollars in 2008 to around 15 billion dollars in 2010.

Similar to US and British, Japnese funding dropped in 2009. While the US and British funding saw all time high contribution in 2010, Japan contribution rose from 2009 to 2010, but slightly lower than its own contribution in 2008. Meanwhile Sweden and Netherlands shared a similar trend, both countries increased their contribution in 2009 at around 8 billion dollars but dropped slighlty in 2010.
