The given graphs illustrate the proportion of world forests and timber in five different regions. In brief, while the percentage of both figures in North Amrica account for a third or a fourth, other data show similar trend equally.

Focusing on the first pie chart, Africa reprisented 27%, which is the highest. This is followed by North America, taking up 25%. Obviously, the total of two proportion is more than a half. In contrast, other three regions: South America, Asia, and Europe demonstrate an almost equal percentage, ranging from 14% to 18%.

Turning to the second graph, the percetage of timber in North America is highest of other areas, recording 30%. Despite a large proportion of forest, merely 9% can be observed in Africa. When it comes to other districts, they show similar tendency, occupying approximately 20%. This means regions other than Africa account for over 90% in this graph.
