Overall, africa is the continent have the largest percentage of world forest, but it also is the region have the smallest ratio of timber around the world.
According to the first chart, africa response for the largest amount of forest , heading in the first list. This was followed by North America, where a quarter of the world’s forest are. Europe, where comprise the third world’s ratio of forest, it is 18 percent . The fluctuation of global wood percentage between Europe and South America is 2 percent . Additionally, that also is the ratio difference of South America compared to Asia, where have the least proportion .
Regarding the second chart, it can be seen some dramatical changes , which are opposite to the first ones. Africa is the continent have the largest proportion of global wood; however, there is the region have the least amount of timber, just 9 percent. In contrastingly, Asia, where has the least ratio of the world’s wood , but it is double that of the amount of timber in Africa. Europe and South America have a significant percentage, 20 and 23 percent , respectively. Finally, the region account for the biggest proportion of wood prepared for using is North America about 30 percent.
