The pie charts compare the distribution of global forest and timber in South America, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
Overall, North America holds the highest rates of timber production among six areas. By contrast, while Africa accounts for the largest world forest, this area contributes the least timber manufacturing in the world timber’s proportion.
The distribution of world forest mainly focuses on Africa, where accounts for 27% of the total forest around the world. North America is the second highest proportion place takes up at 25% of world forest. Around 14%,16%, and 18% of global forest are distributed in Asia, South America, and North America respectively.
In terms of timber contribution rates in five regions, it is noticeable that North America produces the highest proportion of timber while africa shows the lowest timber manufacturing. South America, Europe and Asia contributes to around 18% to 23% of timber production worldwide.
