The pie charts illustrate the propotion of household budget patterns, among two contries UK and New Zealand, during the period from 1980 to 2008. Overall, it can be seen that New Zealand remaind more staible, than UK.
In 1980, the biggest demad in New Zealand was food and drinks, which achieved 29 precent, whereas in Great Britian the highest trend was utility bills, 26%. After that, the second more popular expense was vise versa, in UK food 23% and in New Zealand utility usage was 27%. Regarding to other expences, it were quite simillar.
In contrast, in 2008 food consumption lost its popularity. It represented a significant dicreased in UK only 13%, despite the fact, that transport overtook it, and equalled to14 precent. Meanwhile, in New Zealand meals did not drop so much, just to 25 precent. In addition, leisure activities had becoming more developed in UK, and had a dramatical rose to 34%, while in opposite country it became fewer. Also in both countries increased number of usage transport.
