Overall, there was a slightly declined in the percentage of men and women in four countries over the given period.To draw attention to women in Belgium, there was a significant decreased compared to other countries.
To begin with the men who were employed in 4 countries, USA was the largest country that most men were employed, accounting for about 85%.However, this percentage steadily went down in 2000, dropping to around 78%. According to Japan, it was made up 75% of men who were employed in the beggining, it was experienced dramatically fell with the 51%, after 3 decade.The employment rate in Belgium and Indonesia was 78% and 83% in 1970, respectively.In 2000 the former one had noticeable reduced as similar as Japan (51%), the latter one gradually shrank to 71%.
Turning to the women who were employed in 1970,Belgium proportion was almost equal to Indonesia(63%), which, in turn, considerably diminished to 8%, while Indonesia undergo marginally dipped to 50%.USA was the most employed among other countries in the 1970(78%), but thereafter dropped to 40% in 2000.While Japan was the opposite of it and attracting approximately 54%.In 2000, it was decreased by 6%.
