However, by 2040, their production is expected to experience significant growth, nearly tripling to 20%. Similarly, smartphones will increase from 20% to 25%. Tablets will also notice a rise, growing from 23% to 28%, thus holding the largest share of electronic production.
Computers, which will account for 21% of electronic production in 2030, are projected to decline significantly to just 8% by 2040. Similarly, speaker production is expected to drop dramatically from 15% to 5%. In contrast, headsets will remain stable, maintaining a consistent 14% across both years.
