The charts illustrate the predictions in the proportion of electronics produced in South Korea in two separate years.
It is noticeable that the most significant alteration will be in the production of smartwatches: although it will make up the smallest part in 2030, its percentage is expected to rise by 14% in 2040. Tablets produced in South Korea will account for the largest share, and this figure is projected to grow by 5% in 2040. Another area that will experience a growth in percentage terms is smartphones’ manufacture, which will increase from 20% to 25% during the given period.
In contrast, there will be a moderate decrease in the production of speakers and computers, which are predicted to decline by 10% and 13% in 2040 respectively; moreover, the production of speakers will represent the smallest share in that year.
It can be also observed that the segment of headsets being produced will remain the same in both years.
Overall, while three electronic products are projected to rise over the period, two are expected to go down, whereas one will stay stable,
