The three pie charts display and compare the fluctuation of yearly expenditure from a specific school in Britain in three different periods of twenty year time span which are 1981, 1991 and 2001. In general, teachers’ salaries were the highest expenditure for the school. On the other hand, insurance was placed in the lowest part of the spending. Additionally, the other parts of expenditure were relatively not standing out since the remaining three were placed in the middle between the highest and the lowest.
Both teachers payments and others workers payments were part of expenditure that was spent on human resources and yet the differences were quite explicit. While other workers’ payments were consistently decreasing from 28% to 22% and the lowest of 15%. However, teachers’ payments were increasing from 40% to 50% although it dropped again to 45% but the general trend is positive for teachers.
On the other hand, for the non-human resources like books and furniture, there was a dramatic decrease in the last two years from 20% in 1991 to 9% in 2001 while the trend for books was quite the opposite from 1981 which was 15% and this number was not as dramatic as the 1991 to 2001 number. However, dramatic change not only happened in the books budget but also in the furniture budget. The charts compared the dramatic change from 15% budget in 1981 to 5% in 1991, it was a 10% decrease. However, the percentage was wildly changed to 23% in 2001 which was increased by 18%.
Finally, the lowest spending was for the insurance budget with all of three years not reaching 10%. Even though it was the lowest, it had a unique trend to steadily increase each year which may be concluded as the possibility of increasing awareness of possible danger that might be happening to the school.
