In 2004, ranked in the first place was cars with over a half of travelers, followed by approximately a third of bus passengers. Furthermore, the figure for people opting other methods of transport occupied minor numbers, which were below 10%.
In 2009, the rate of car commuters dropped significantly – a decrease of about 50%. In addition, there was a sharp increase in that of bus travelers and cyclists while a minimal rise was experienced in the ratio of people selecting trains and pedestrians. Finally, in 2004, the total of public transport choosers was 36%, but later remarkably grew and reached precisely a half in 2009.
