Furthermore, the usage of buses dramatically rose from 33% in 2004 to 46% in 2009. Additionally, there was a considerable increase in the preference for buses, which grew from 9% to 16% over the same period.
Regarding the utilization of trains, there was a slight increase, reaching 4% by 2009. Similarly, the figures for walking accounted for the lowest percentage in 2004, at 4 %, and there was a steady increase to 6 % in 2009.
