Overall what stands out from the bar chart is that action movies were the most popular genre by men and romantic comedy was the most popular by women. Similarly pie chart shows that most box office takings came from action and comedy films
Looking at the details, two-fifths of men watched action films, making it significantly more popular than women a quarter. Comedy films cames next 2 out of ten of men watched as same as women. Thrillers were watched by 15% of men just ahead of women one out of ten. Science fiction films are the least popular genre among the both gender which were chosen by 10% of men as well as 5% of women. A tenth of men was not quite as view as opposite gender. In second place is romantic comedy and 30% of women enjoyed, compared to male, which is 5%.
If we look at pie chart almost half of the people bought for action films. Nearly a quarter of people bought comedy genre which was not as succesful as action genre. Romantic comedy was almost as popular as thriller. Other types of genres was enjoyed only 5% of population.
