The charts illustrate how much money was spent on food and other goods in three Europeyn countries between 1998 and 2008
Overall, expenditure was allocated to food and other goods in France, Germany and England rose in 2008. While the amount of money used on those purposes in 2008 in France was the highest point, the opposite was true for England. Noticeably, the data for Germany experienced a slight increase in both food and different kinds of goods demand
Looking first at food, in 1998 the proportion of budgets shared in food in Germany accounted for 25%, being the largest portion, as opposed to just under 15% in France and 10% in England. However, in 2008, the percentage of food spending in France soared to 40% and became the first position. Germany and England, whereas, experienced an increase of only 5%, but the latter country figure was half of the former nation, retaining the second place
Turning finally to other goods, similar patterns in comparison with those at food statistics were seen in three countries but to less extent. Germany ranked first at over 15%, France came behind with just under 10% and about 7% of England’s data. In 2008, the proportion of money spent on other goods in France substantially grew to 40% to clain the most common allocation. Similarly, dspite the lowest spending in 1998, the share of England jumped to 35%, which was just 5% less than the previous nation. Germany, incontrast, witnessed a small growth of 5% hiting the third position at the end of the period
