The pie charts illustrated the three different sources of electricity produced in four countries (India, Sweden, Morocco, and Vietnam) from 2003 to 2008.
Overall, the stations in India and Vietnam produced the highest proportion of electricity from fossil fuel. By contrast, the vast majority production of electricity in Morocco and Sweden was from hydro power during the period shown.
In India and Vietnam, the percentage of electricity made from fossil fuel accounted for 82% and 56% respectively, whereas the figures for Sweden and Morocco were significantly lower, at around 4% and 5% during the 5-year period. Nuclear power provided a negligible amount of electricity in Morocco and Vietnam and the figure for India was slightly higher (4%), while around 44% of electricity was consumed from nuclear energy in Sweden between 2003 and 2008. the amount of electricity provided from hydro energy fluctuated dramatically which reached a peak of 95% in Morocco and hit a low of 14% in India.
