The line graph illustrates the millions of dollars of clothing commodities exported overseas by three different countries over two decades, from 1990 to 2013.
Overall, export figures for Myanmar and Colombia increased compared to their initial amounts. Notably, while Myanmar’s profits were the highest among the three countries, starting from zero in 1990, they still remained lower compared to the other two countries.
Looking closer at Myanmar’s export trends, there were two significant changes from 1990 to 2012. The first was a notable increase from approximately zero to 800 million in exports, followed by a decline of 600 million from 950 million. However, between 2000 and 2011, exports saw a slight increase from 800 million to 950 million, before rising again to around 440 million in 2013.
Colombia began with an initial export value of 470 million in 1990. Its export figures increased steadily, peaking at 700 million in 2012, but then dropped slightly to nearly 600 million by the end of the period.
Initially, Japan had the highest export figure at 570 million dollars in 1990. This amount decreased slightly to around 540 million in 2000, before a small increase to 600 million in 2011. However, the figure then gradually declined over the next two years, ending at just under 500 million dollars.
