The line graph illustrates overall clothing exports moneywise in Colombia, Japan, and Myanmar between 1990 and 2013. Figures are measured in millions of dollars.
Overall, it can be seen that Myanmar and Colombia experienced an increase, while the reverse was true for Japan. However, Myanmar saw significant fluctuations and had the highest figure throughout.
Colombia and Japan followed similar patterns in their clothing exports over the given period. In the beginning of the period, Colombia started with just under 500 million and saw a significant steady increase until 2012, when it reached its peak of 700 million. However, Colombia experienced a decrease and stood at just over 600 million. Japan also started at about 580 million in 1990 and saw slight fluctuations, peaking at 600 in 2011, but then declined steadily to approximately 500 million by the end of the period.
Myanmar bucked the trend and experienced major changes. Myanmar’s clothing exports were just over 0 in 1990, the country saw a rapid rise in two decades, peaking at around 950 million in 2011. Despite the increase, the figure declined dramatically to about 350 in 2012 before recovering slightly by 2013, reaching more than 400.
