The line graph illustrates the rate of parcels delivered by two industries- FedEx and TNT mail services between 1920 and 2000.
Overall, the TNT company showed an upward trend, and FedEx depicted a downward trend.
After analysing the line graph, it can be seen clearly that in 1920 the figure for FedEx stood at 5000 parcels . 1920 Fed Ex was 15,000 parcels and rose gradually in 1930, reaching a mere 70,000 parcels. After that FedEx company reached at peak, which 24,000 parcels in 1940. it declined gradually which was accounted around 12,500 parcels between 1950 in 1960. FedEx saw huge growth until 1980 and in 2000 it reached at nearly 70000 parcels.
In contrast, TNT delivered only 5000 parcels in 1920, which was 3 times less then FedEx company. In 1950, it showed a small increase and covered 7000 parcels. The figure from TNT fluctuated a little bit, touching a plateau at 10,000 parcels. Following this, the company showed a gradual rise at riched the highest position at almost 25,000 parcels in 2000.
