The line graph compares the number of parcels delivered by two major copanies, FedEx and TNT, over the period from 1920 to 2000.
Overall, TNT showed a stedily increase in percel delivery throughout the entire period, while FedEx experienced several flactuations, with its figures riding sharply at first but then declining toward the end.
In 1920, FedEx delivered around 15.000 percels , almost triple the figure for TNT, wich stood at approximately 6.000. After rising steadily to about 17.000 in 1930, it reached peak by experiencing a sharp increase to approximately 23.000 percel delivery. By 1950 it went through dramatic fall to about 12.500. After recovering itself to 17.000 in 1980, it remained stable till the end of the period.
In contrast, TNT’s perfomance showed a consist upward trend. From 6.000percales in 1920, deliveries rose gradually to around 14.000 by 1960. After a brief leveling-off, the company experienced rapid groth betweeen 1980 and 2000, when the number of parcels surged from about 11.000 to nearly 25.000, overtaking FedEx and becoming the leading mail service by the end of the period
