The line graph demonstrates how many parcels have been delivered by two main mail services companies over the 80-year period.
Overall, it can be seen that TNT Mail Services witnessed tremendous increase regarding the number of parcels that has been delivered from 1920 to 2,000. Although, the number of parcels that were delivered by Federal Express went up, the rise was not as high as that delivered by TNT Mail Services.
In the beginning, the proportion of parcels delivered by TNT Mail Services was just over 5,000. Then, it rose considerably to reach about 12,000 in 1960. This was followed by slight drop by about 1,000 20 years later. Ultimately, it rocketed to approximately 24,000 at the end of the period.
Regarding the proportion of parcels delivered by Federal Express, it soared substantially from 15,000 in 1920 to roughly 23,0000 in 1940. Following this, after experiencing a considerable decrease by about 10,000 in 1960, it then increased remarkably from almost 13,000 in 1960 to about 17,000 in 2000.
