The process diagram demonstrates how soap was created thousand years ago and how it is produced now.

In the past it included only three stages, whereas now soap production consists of five key stages. Moreover, it can be clearly seen that in the past it was done by people using only natural products, while now this work has been replaced by machines.

Firstly, 1000 years ago it started by storing animal fat. After, plant ashes are added to make it smell better. Finally, it is mixed in a cauldron and heated. Thus, natural soap made by human hands is ready for use.

Nowadays, soap production requires modern technologies. First of all, molten fat pours into a tube, which has water at 130 degrees celsius. The second stage is mixing the fatty acid with alkali. The following stage consists in cooling the ready mixture in the mould. After that, perfume was added to soaps milling by rollers. Finally, by stamping and wrapping it prepares for consumption.
