The presented process diagram illustrates the main steps of a method that will be prospectively used to produce home energy. This report will highlight these steps briefly.
Broadly speaking, what stands out from the diagram is that this is a linear man-made process consisting of 6 main steps, starting with fermentation of waste products and ends with generating electricity.
Delving into the specific details, firstly, a metal (steel) tank is filled with 75% of waste materials, including leaves, food, and scraps, and also 25% of water to produce methane gas. The methane gas produced is then collected and conveyed through pipelines and stored in a tank. From this point, the gas is compressed with the help of special equipment and sent to a combustion engine.
Subsequently, the methane is used as a fuel and burnt in the combustion engine so that some mechanical energy can be produced as output. Thereafter, the mechanical energy produced is converted to electrical energy by the generator. Lastly, the electrical energy generated is stored in batteries and becomes ready to supply in homes whenever required.
