The process illustrates the method of converting the impure water to pure water with the help of water filter. Overall, the main step is pouring the impure water into the barrel than the water passes through the filter and the pipe to be cleaned, after that clean water is stored in the drum.
To begin with, the system consists of a tub and drum connected to each other via a tube. The top of the filter is covered by round plastic lid and its bottom half is filled with three layers of sand, charcoal and gravel respectively. Moreover, the drum serves as a storage container of filtered water with a tap attached to it.
Apart from this, the process starts when the dirty water is poured into the barrel through the first layer which is sand, followed by second layer which is charcoal and the last layer which is gravel. Additionally, the clean water passes through the pipe and stored in the storage drum until gets out of the water of the first tank. Finally, the pure water can be utilized for drinking.
