the two maps provide a comparison of change that took place in museum between 1957 and 2007.
Overall, what stands out is that the museum underwent significant expansion, with the addition of facilities.Of particular note is that these modifications transformed the museum from a simple exhibition space into a modern facility with improved amenities, making it more educationally engaging.
In 1957,there were a large number of trees around the museum particularly behind it,to its left and near the road, however by 2007 many trees had been cut down, with only a few remaining in the northwest of the museum. It is worth to note that a large proportion of green area was replaced with a car park. Additionally, the main entrance which was previously located in the middle of the museum was relocated to the left side of the museum.
Looking at the details of the inside of the museum,it was enlarged with some additional rooms. The former entrance and museum storeroom were converted into reception and cafe, respectively.Notably, the national history exhibition was replaced by special exhibitions and education centre.Conversely,
a reception area and a museum shop were set up near the entrance, while local history room was relocated adjacent to special exhibitions as well as education centre.
