The two pictures illustrate the development of a local museum and its surroundings in 1957 and 2007.
Overall, the layout of the museum experienced significant changes, with several areas being constructed. While the road remained intact, the surroundings were minimised.
In 1957, the road was located in the south, along with some trees, and a path provided access to the museum. Furthermore, a local history room was situated in the middle; at the top was a national history exhibition. A museum storeroom was next to the entrance hall. The museum was surrounded by trees, and the garden occupied the top left corner.
In 2007, there were several changes in the infrastructure of the museum. Access to the building was relocated to the western side, above which was a new museum shop. The museum storeroom was converted into a café, to the right of which was a new reception, and a local history room was relocated to the centre of the building. Special exhibitions and an education centre have been built in place of the national history exhibition. When it comes to the surroundings of the museum, the garden and the road remained unchanged. 90% of the trees have been removed, whereas a car park has been constructed in the south.
