Overall, the procedure of recycling plastic is a cyclical process that consists of four main stages: collecting, sorting, crushing, and producing products for reuse.
First of all, the disposed plastic bottles are collected from recycling bins by vehicle; they are subsequently delivered to the recycling center. At the center, they are then sorted, where recyclable bottles are separated from non-recyclable waste. At the fourth stage, the sorted bottles are compressed into large blocks. Next stage, the blocks are crushed using specialized machinery producing numerous smaller pieces.
The remaining stages aim to produce raw material. After washing to remove any impurities at the sixth stage, the substance from the previous stage is converted into plastic plates. Then, the plates are heated to form raw material. Finally, the raw material is ready for use in various production purposes to restart the cycle.
