The given image gives information about the process of recycling plastic bottles.
Overall, it is clear that the process is cyclical, encompassing nine stages. Meanwhile, the whole process might be separated into physical and thermal phases.
In terms of physical phase, the entire recycling process begins with a garbage can picking up plastic bottles thrown by people. Then, all plastic bottles are transferred by special truck, and delivered directly to the recycling centre for sorting by a worker. Afterwards, sorted plastic bottles are compressed into blocks for following crushing process, where they are crushed and washed by machine.
Regarding the thermal phase, washed pieces are used for producing plastic pellets by special pelletising machine. After that, produced pellets are heated to produce raw material. At the next stage, recieved raw materials are used for creating end products, such as shirts, containers, pencils, plastic bottles and bags. Finally, this cycle can be repeated again.
