The flowchart illustrates the process of making banana chips.
Overall, it is clear that bananas go through several stages before being delivered around the world, starting with peeling the ripe banana and ending with distributing the final product. It mainly involves preparation, frying, seasoning and product steps.
First, ripe bananas are peeled by a special machine, then they are rinsed in water to remove any dirt. Next, the cleaned bananas are put into/ fed into a slicing machine, where they are sliced into the thin pieces. After that, the sliced bananas are dried before transferring to the next stages.
Second, the dried bananas are deep fried in hot oil in the large fryers. After that, the cooking chips are lifted out by a large special sieve, which allows oil to drain off. Then, they are left to cool down. When they are reached the right temperature, they are added with some spices for extra taste.
Finally, the chips are packed and distributed around the world.
