The given diagram illustrates the formation of a biofuel known as ethanol.
The perusal of the layout shows the cycle of a biofuel production. Firstly, the process starts with growing plants and trees in the field and the energy is produce by sunlight and CO2. These plants and trees are harvested by farmers in a process called pre-processing. Furthermore, these plants and trees produce cellulose after its been harvested.
However, cellulose has been further processed into sugars and then microbes were added to produce ethanol. Then ethanol is used in the transport system such as cars, trucks, airplanes etc., which forms carbon dioxide in the air. Additionally, this carbon dioxide is consumed by trees and plants, which is again harvested and processed.
To sum up, the ethanol is formed by a biofuel, which is used in transportation. The vicious cycle is repeat and the whole process of production starts again.
